Welcome!

The main VISA Advice team remit is to provide services as fully trained immigration specialists. However, we will try and assist with general queries about being an international student in the UK that you might have and which are not covered by other specialist team at the University. We have collated some International Students Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), so please check there first if you are looking for specific information. If you do not know which University team to contact for help with your query, please ask us and we will try and get you to the right department or information as quickly as possible.

It is important to the VISA Advice team that we are available to support as many students as possible, as quickly as we can.

If you have an urgent complex query, please email us (include your name, student number, as much detail as possible about your query and copies of any visas). Emails are answered in the order received. Please avoid sending multiple "chaser" emails.

Please note that Monday 25th May is a UK Bank Holiday, therefore the University will be closed and there will be no live chat available.

Drop-In Sessions: (No appointment necessary)

If demand is high, please be aware it may not be possible to meet with an adviser on the chosen date/time. We will always provide an alternative way to contact the VISA Advice team to discuss your query or we may invite you to attend a different drop-in session.
