Welcome Week for January 2026 will take place from 19th-23rd January, with a range of events taking place each day. Effort should be made by you to attend all events listed within the below timetable.
Events are a chance to gain insight to your chosen degree programme, ask questions and get to know both staff and students in your department. We look forward to meeting you!

10:00 – 11:00 - Welcome and Induction Talk - B014, Engineering Central
Meet your student course mates for the first time along with Academic staff from your department who will introduce your programme of study, provide you with key academic information and direct you to useful course resources.
14:00 - 16:00 All MSc programmes Social - 002, Y Twyni, Bay Campus
Join your peers for a social to welcome all new MSc Students. A great way to start your year by forming new friendships and networks. There will also be an opportunity to win some prizes!
