We look forward to welcoming our new students in September 2027. Your Induction timetables will be posted on this page closer to the start of the academic year. You can access the term dates for the upcoming academic year here.
If at any point you have any questions or need support, you can turn to Hwb. Hwb is the home of student information.
Hwb is designed to make it quick and easy for you to access the support, services, and information you need. Think of it as one place for every answer.
A Welcome Message from Professor David Smith, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean
"At Swansea University and in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, we believe in working in partnership with students. We work hard to break down barriers and value the contribution of everyone. Our goal is an inclusive community where everyone is respected, and everyone’s contributions are valued. Always feel free to talk to academic, technical and administrative staff, administrators - I’m sure you will find many friendly helping hands ready to assist you. And make the most of living and working alongside your fellow students. During your time with us, please learn, create, collaborate, and most of all – enjoy yourself!”

If you want to know more about what your next step will entail, on Wednesday 16 September the Centre for Academic Success is running a Welcome to Uni workshop. The zoom session will help you find out more about what to expect, and to talk you through some tips for approaching your learning.
