About Module Feedback

Your teaching staff will provide you with opportunities to provide feedback on programmes and modules.

This may be via online survey, an in-class poll or via other methods, best suited to your discipline. Online surveys may be offered via Canvas, using the same questions you have seen in previous years.

I have a question about my surveys, who can I contact?

Information about module feedback opportunities will be provided by your teaching staff.  If you have any questions about feedback opportunities, please speak to your module lead or programme director. 

Did you know?

  • Staff are expected to engage with all sources of student feedback and this will be considered and discussed as part of every lecturers Professional Development Review.
  • Staff will use student feedback to identify areas of good practice and what is working well, as well as identify areas for improvement and action.
  • Staff are able to decide when best to offer feedback opportunities, this may be halfway through the module, after a practical or activity or at the end of the module.
  • You may be asked to complete feedback more than once in the module, this allows staff to check the module is running smoothly and make any improvements as early as possible.
  • The results are confidential. Student feedback will never be associated to individual students' names.
  • Staff will be expected to provide you with updates on how your feedback is being used and any actions that will be taken as a result of your feedback.
