I am a proud Nigerian of Yoruba ethnicity in Africa, passionate about transforming people and society using technology as the core tool. Given my experience spanning several years in software engineering, I enjoy creating novel applications—though considered a responsibility, it happens to be my hobby :-)
BEING A SUBJECT REPRESENTATIVE
As a Subject representative, it strategically position me to not only voice out my opinion but also the feedback of other people and student in Computer Science.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Subject Representative I gather feedbacks from student directly or by inference and then act on it by working closely with the university for improvement
MY CURRENT STUDIES...
I am fascinated by how humans understand the need for cyber security but in fact wish not to inconvenience themselves too much to reach a secure status. I see this behaviour in my workplace and chose to research it in an academic environment so I can develop my knowledge on the technologies and theories that underpin it. I chose to study at Swansea as my supervisors' research interests align with my own and most importantly everyone is really friendly! There's so many opportunities to attend remote development courses which suits my needs perfectly.
